Terms of Service

By creating a BayReady account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use BayReady. "BayReady," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the BayReady service and its operators. "You" refers to the account holder.

BayReady is a compliance tracking and reminder tool for auto repair shops. It helps you track expiration dates for technician certifications, equipment inspections, and facility licenses — and sends email reminders before they lapse.

BayReady is not a law firm and does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. The information in BayReady (renewal cycles, fine amounts, issuing bodies) is provided as a convenience and may not reflect recent regulatory changes. You are responsible for verifying your own compliance obligations with the relevant authorities.

You must provide an accurate email address to use BayReady. You are responsible for all activity under your account. BayReady uses magic link authentication — we send a sign-in link to your email instead of storing a password. Keep your email account secure.

One BayReady account is for one shop. Multi-shop plans are available for operators with multiple locations.

New accounts include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will need an active subscription to continue using BayReady. Your data is preserved if you subscribe after your trial ends.

BayReady offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Prices are displayed on the pricing page at the time of signup. By providing payment information and subscribing, you authorize BayReady to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month
• Annual plans are billed once per year
• Founding member pricing is locked in for the life of your subscription as long as it remains active
• All prices are in USD

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access through that date. We do not prorate partial months.

After your subscription ends, your account enters a read-only state for 90 days. During that time you can export your data or reactivate. After 90 days, your data may be deleted.

You agree not to:

• Use BayReady for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another account's data
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the BayReady service
• Upload malicious files or content
• Use BayReady to store personal data beyond what is needed to operate a repair shop (e.g., no financial records, medical information, or Social Security Numbers)

You own the data you enter into BayReady. We do not claim any rights over your shop information, technician records, or uploaded documents. You can export or delete your data at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep BayReady available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, pricing (with notice), or discontinue the service with 30 days written notice to your email address.

BayReady is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that reminder emails will always be delivered, or that the compliance information in the system is current and accurate for your jurisdiction. Do not rely solely on BayReady to ensure regulatory compliance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BayReady's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. BayReady is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost revenue, fines, or regulatory penalties — even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Georgia.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of BayReady after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
